Recent investment in equipment and technology now provides customers with design versatility and cost advantages
MANITOWOC, Wis. – Jagemann™ Stamping Company, a leading manufacturer of deep drawn and progressive metal stampings, announces today the expansion of their services to include fineblanking capabilities. The inherent process of fineblanking is well-suited to customers seeking cost-efficiencies for high volume components and the ability to pursue sophisticated, precise stamping designs.
“In an industry that tends to focus on specialization, we are pleased to now offer customers versatility by housing both traditional deep drawn stamping and fineblanking capabilities within our facility,” said Ralph Hardt, President of Jagemann™ Stamping Company. “We will be sharing this new fineblanking capability with existing customers, but are also poised to capture new business with companies that need a stamping provider who offers the depth, quality and capacity that Jagemann™ Stamping is now positioned to deliver.”
Components stamped utilizing fineblanking tooling and hydraulic presses are noted for fully sheared, crisp edges. Cost savings are captured as very little deburring is required on the finished components. Additionally, time efficiencies are realized since the sophisticated fineblanking press is capable of condensing several steps normally found in the traditional metal forming or machining processes. Historically, the home hardware, medical and automotive industries have embraced fineblanking due the design versatility and efficiency the process delivers. Yet, it is easy to see that there are many opportunities to leverage the fineblanking process in other industries as a means to solve inherent design, process and cost issues.
Jagemann™ Stamping Company will formally introduce to the industry its fineblanking capabilities at Fabtech – North America’s largest metal forming, fabricating, finishing and welding event. (www.fabtechexpo.com) The annual tradeshow begins November 2nd in Atlanta and attendees are encouraged to make time to visit booth #1255 to speak with Jagemann™ associates about how the new fineblanking capabilities can help solve their business needs. Interested associates may also contact John Ryan, director of sales, directly at (920) 684-2657 or jryan@jagemann.com to learn more.
