Recent acquisition now provides customers with design versatility and cost advantages

MANITOWOC, Wis. – Jagemann™ Stamping Company, a leading manufacturer of deep drawn and progressive metal stampings, announces today the acquisition of Tennessee based Feintool Plastic/Metal Components. This strategic acquisition enhances Jagemann’s portfolio and value added manufacturing capabilities with the addition of plastics.

“We are pleased to now offer customers versatility by housing traditional, deep drawn stamping and fineblanking capabilities in addition to the newly acquired plastic/metal components within our portfolio,” said Ralph Hardt, President of Jagemann™ Stamping Company. “We are excited about this opportunity and the continued expansion of our precision manufacturing capabilities that will result in increased value to our customers.”

Jagemann™ has, for many years, focused on precision deep drawn and progressive stamping applications. Jagemann™ processes many types of materials, both ferrous and non-ferrous. In 2010, Jagemann™ added fineblanking to its portfolio in an effort to further enhance Jagemann’s technical leadership and enable Jagemann™ to provide expanded services to customers.

The acquisition of the plastics/metal company allows Jagemann™ to offer two types of additional value added capabilities to its customers.

Insert molding combines discrete components, including metal and plastics into a single composite piece. This process has brought improvements to the automotive, appliance, solar and medical markets and results in savings customer’s assembly time, labor and money. Over molding is an efficient process resulting in both time and monetary savings.
