.270 Winchester
The .270 was developed by Winchester in 1923 and released in 1925. It was intended as a chambering for their Model 54. This cartridge is a necked down .30-06 Springfield and is the same length as the .280 Remington. The .270 has gained in popularity among hunters and gun owners.
